Directed by Michael Waldron, the Queen Mary’s Consort performs a selection of choral works by contemporary composers including Pärt, Tavener and Clements in the setting of St John’s College Chapel.
Freshers' Concert

The start of a new academic year brings with it the annual Freshers' concert. Held in the Master's Lodge, the concert will showcase the newest musical talent to join Trinity College.
The Beethoven Ensemble

Directed by Dan Hill, The Beethoven Ensemble is one of Cambridge's newest and most exciting orchestral groups. Their first concert of the term will open with Wagner's Siegfried Idyll, while soloist Alice Gledhill returns to play Finzi's Clarinet Concerto. The concert will close with triumphant tones of Beethoven's Eroica Symphony.

The Cambridge Bach Players

The Cambridge Bach Players perform a selection of Bach's most beautiful cantatas, motets and arias. The chorus, composed of current and former Trinity Choral Scholars, will perform Cantatas Selig is der Mann, Du Hirte, Israel höre and the motet Der Geist hilft unser Shwachheit auf. Soloists Lucy Goddard, Guy Hayward and Natasha Goldberg will perform arias from Bach's Passions. Conducted by Michael Waldron and Sam Hogarth.
The Amarilli Ensemble

The Amarilli Ensemble perform selections from Monteverdi's Madrigal Book V. These beautiful madrigals will be performed one-to-a-part by five Cambridge choral scholars: Emily Dickens (soprano), Elizabeth Wheeler (alto), Alex Berman (tenor), Tom Keen (baritone) and Christopher Webb (bass), in the wonderful acoustic of Trinity College Chapel by candlelight.
