The Trinity Singers are TCMS’s non-audition choir, and are one of Cambridge’s finest non-audition ensembles with around 70 members. We are open to everyone, whether from the University or not. We would be delighted to see you at any of our rehearsals, which take place in Trinity College Chapel on Thursday evenings from 7.45-9.30pm during term-time. You are welcome to come and listen before deciding if you would like to join. No previous experience is required and we are absolutely FREE to sing with!
This term the choir will be working towards a performance of Choral Classics, having performed Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Dvorak’s Te Deum and Mendelssohn’s Psalm 42, as well as other works last year. Rehearsals begin on 17th January and run every Thursday until our concert, which is on Saturday 9th March at 8 pm in the Chapel. Other recent performances include Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Dvorak's Te Deum and the Cambridge première of Oliver Tarney’s Magnificat, a contemporary epic.
The director of the Trinity Singers, Alex Patel, would be delighted to help with any of your enquiries.
